FUNDS MANAGED BY THE FOUNDATION

  • The Truth and Freedom Fund endows a chair at the St. Philip Institute to interpret and apply Catholic Social Doctrine in the areas of Solidarity, Subsidiarity and Free Markets. The social teaching of the Catholic Church are often coopted by people with agendas, too often at odds with the true teaching of the Church.

  • Economics is not only about financial capital, it is about human capital, human flourishing and human freedom.  Free markets need recognize the dignity of the human person, the primacy of marriage and the family and the proper role of mediating institutions.

  • The Truth and Freedom Fund will finance an important effort to interpret these foundational social teachings from an authentically Catholic perspective.
